MachNation has joined the Internet of Things World Forum steering committee. MachNation joins some of the world’s top enterprises, governmental agencies and prestigious academic institutions in this exclusive organization to help drive awareness, standards, architectures, security, industry sector thought-leadership and adoption of Internet of Things solutions. All in all, 103 organizations comprise the Internet of Things World Forum steering committee including ABB, AT&T Labs, Cisco, European Commission, Ford Motor Company, GE IBM, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Samsung Research America, Schneider Electric, Shell, Starbucks and Swisscom.
MachNation sits on several important working groups within the steering committee to help drive development of the Internet of Things worldwide.
The next Internet of Things World Forum will be held in Chicago, USA on 14-16 October 2014. Attendance is expected in the thousands.
