Mozilla launches open source IoT platform

On April 18th, 2019 Mozilla announced Mozilla WebThings. WebThings is an open source platform aimed at helping consumers connect and monitor IoT devices, presumably in their homes. Amazon, Microsoft, VW, BMW – a bevy of IoT partnerships

Over the past few weeks, two hyperscale cloud vendors have announced partnerships with automotive manufacturers to help extend the use of IoT and cloud to auto industry supply chains.
