MachNation releases Amazon AWS IoT and Microsoft Azure IoT Edge proof-of-concept evaluations

MachNation has released two proof-of-concept (PoC) evaluations: one for Amazon Web Services (AWS) IoT Core and one for Microsoft Azure IoT Edge. MachNation presents at Bosch IoT Web Days on 25 September 2019

At the Bosch IoT Web Days, an online live event featuring business and technical information about the Internet of Things, MachNation’s Steve Hilton presented results from MachNation’s hands-on benchmarking of the Bosch IoT Suite in MachNation’s IoT platform test lab called MIT-E. New IoT partnerships see Software AG upping edge presence

Two agreements have seen Software AG increasing its presence in the on-gateway market, which MachNation estimates can accounts for 65% of IoT edge platform vendor revenues. Software AG announced both partnerships this month. MachNation has included Software AG in its 2018 IoT Edge ScoreCard. The first announcement was with Dell Technologies. Nanotron chooses ClearBlade’s IoT edge capabilities

In January, 2018, we rated ClearBlade as an Application Enablement Platform (AEP) vendor to watch on account of its particularly strong IoT edge computing capabilities. Now the company’s capabilities have secured it a deal with Nanotron Technologies, a German location awareness systems developer.
