On April 18th, 2019 Mozilla announced Mozilla WebThings. WebThings is an open source platform aimed at helping consumers connect and monitor IoT devices, presumably in their homes. New IoT partnerships see Software AG upping edge presence

Two agreements have seen Software AG increasing its presence in the on-gateway market, which MachNation estimates can accounts for 65% of IoT edge platform vendor revenues. Bosch Software Innovations partners with Huawei to support Chinese markets

Bosch’s software division, Bosch Software Innovations, has strengthened its IoT delivery capabilities in China through a relationship with China’s biggest networking technology company, Huawei.
